Rotty is one of the dogs who recently came into our care as part of an animal seizure case. Because he has only just arrived at the shelter, we are still getting to know him. We don't know much about Rotty's personality just yet, but we do know that he does well with other dogs.

Right now, the shelter is a very scary and overwhelming place for Rotty. He is understandably very timid and scared, and we believe it will take time, patience, and a quiet, loving environment for Rotty to begin feeling safe enough to show his true personality.

Some of the dogs from this case came to us very underweight and will need time to safely gain the weight they need. Potential adopters must be willing to follow our team's appropriate feeding instructions and understand that helping them get healthy will be an important part of their journey.

We know there is so much more to Rotty than what we are seeing right now. Behind those scared eyes is a dog who deserves the chance to learn what kindness, comfort, safety, and unconditional love truly feel like.
