Meet Alaska! This gorgeous boy (approximately 4 years old, and only 45 pounds!) found himself in quite the predicament when he was taken to a high kill shelter in Houston, Texas. Thankfully, he is heartworm negative, is getting used to being around other dogs (slow intros are a must), and learning what love with life is all about. Alaska's foster family has taught him the basics-potty training, a few basic commands, not to growl at your siblings, etc. And now, he's ready to try out his new skills during his next chapter with his new family.
