Meet Alba. Her name literally means, "Dawn." A new beginning. This beautiful girl was found on the cruel streets of Houston, Texas, where passerby's kept leaving her for dead. After all, she was just a number - a number of the estimated million strays roaming the streets of Houston. Thankfully, she wasn't pregnant. Alba is, however, heartworm positive, though she's already been treated using the slow kill method. She is currently living with her foster mom, 2 dogs, and 6 cats! And she's doing great. Her only issue is separation anxiety. She would need to be heavy-crated while you're away, or you may end up with no curtains or blinds in your home!
