Gino - Siberian Husky and Boxer Dog for Adoption in Ona, West Virginia

Gino is an absolute goofball with one very serious passion: toys. If there is a toy anywhere nearby, Gino will find it. He loves carrying them around, playing with them, and making sure no perfectly good toy goes unnoticed. This tall, silly guy has quickly won us over with his playful personality and ability to keep everyone laughing. He is also a superstar with other dogs and absolutely shines in playgroup. Gino is still working on his leash skills and has plenty left to learn, but he approaches life with a happy attitude and plenty of enthusiasm.

Gino's best fit:

Gino would love a home that appreciates a playful dog and is ready to continue helping him learn. A canine companion could be a wonderful match for him, especially another dog who enjoys playing as much as he does. Gino came to Little Victories from an overcrowded county shelter, so we are still learning more about him as he settles in. What we already know is that he is silly, social, completely toy obsessed, and very easy to fall for.

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.

The Siberian Husky is a medium sized working dog breed known for its striking appearance and friendly demeanor. Originating from Siberia, these dogs are well adapted to cold climates and are recognizable for their distinctive wolf like appearance, including piercing almond shaped eyes and a thick double coat. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
