Toby - Great Dane and German Shorthaired Pointer Dog for Adoption in Ona, West Virginia

Toby is all puppy... just supersized. At only a few months old, he is already around 60 pounds, and if his size is any indication, we suspect there is some Great Dane in his family tree. This lovable goofball adores people of all ages, loves other dogs, and has been friendly and curious with cats. He is happiest playing tug or fetch, splashing in the water, riding in the car, or exploring the outdoors. Toby is eager to learn, already knows how to sit, and will do just about anything for a treat, especially watermelon.

Like any puppy, Toby is still learning. He is doing well in a crate with frequent potty breaks but is not yet fully house trained. He is also working on his leash skills, socialization, and remembering that not everything belongs in his mouth. Toby is looking for a family that is excited to raise a giant-breed puppy. With continued training, plenty of adventure, and lots of love, he is going to grow into an incredible companion.
