This includes our standard adoption fee of $395 plus an additional required $500 tax-deductible donation. Why the additional donation? Dogs with highly desirable traits-such as low-shedding coats and popular breeds-help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, imaging and surgeries for dogs with traumatic injuries, and medications for those requiring lifesaving heartworm treatments. Take a look at the newest addition to the Saving Grace fun size club! His name is Escalus, but his foster mom lovingly calls him "Ziggy". He recently had a trip to the groomer, and we found the most adorable pup under all of the mats this pitiful fellow was carrying around!

He is the sweetest boy and wants to please so badly, and sometimes his excitement just takes over and he can't help but run around the house like a wild man full of joy. It doesn't matter if you have been gone for 10 minutes or three hours, Ziggy is over the top happy when you get home. And then he will quickly settle down, especially if he has a lap to fall asleep on. He is a world class snuggle partner and lover boy through and through.

He is also very smart and knows to sit quietly first before eating his dinner or getting leashed up to go for a walk. He loves going on walks and is very polite on a leash, and he would also be so happy to have a fenced yard to sniff and discover.

He is so good about doing his business outside as long as he gets taken out regularly. He loves to sleep in the big bed and doesn't hog the covers or take up much room, he just hates not being able to snuggle with his person.

This guy is a real keeper and he will give you all the love you can handle if you have room in your heart to spare for a sweet furry friend.
