Calling all fans of hugs, kisses, and snuggles-Betty is your soon-to-be bestie, and she's ready to steal your heart! This sweet girl has been an absolute dream in foster care. From day one, she has shown just how trusting and loving she is. As she recovered from a leg injury, Betty patiently allowed her foster family to clean and care for her wounds without any fuss. An excellent house guest, she seems to be house-trained when kept on a schedule, sleeps quietly in her crate through the night, and is so well-mannered that she rarely even barks-even when the doorbell rings. She adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. In fact, she accompanied her foster parent to work and quickly became friends with all of the coworkers she met. Betty seems to believe that every person is simply a friend she hasn't kissed yet!

While she's still building strength and learning to fully use her back leg, Betty has already shown excellent leash manners. She walks calmly without pulling and, when given some freedom in the yard, prefers to stay close to her people rather than wander off exploring. When she's feeling playful, Betty enjoys chasing bugs, investigating toads, and keeping an eye on squirrels, though she's not quite ready for high-speed pursuits just yet. Indoors, she's happiest with a Nylabone to chew, a stuffed toy to lovingly de-stuff, and a warm spot on the couch where she can curl up for a cozy nap. She does have one little quirk-flip-flops seem to be her favorite "toy," so future adopters may want to keep their footwear out of reach!

Betty has been through a lot, but she greets every day with love, trust, and a wagging tail. She deserves a family who will shower her with affection, spoil her rotten, and give her all the hugs and kisses she so eagerly gives in return.
