Pi is an adorable 4-year-old Shih Tzu who may be tiny at just 9 pounds, but he has a whole lot of love packed into that little body! This sweet boy is friendly, affectionate, and loves everyone he meets. He does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a wonderful little companion for just about any family.

Pi was born with a deformed leg that is shorter than the others and looks like a little stub, but please don't let that fool you! It's simply part of what makes Pi uniquely Pi, and he has spent his entire life adapting to it.

Sadly, Pi recently lost the only home he's known after his beloved owner was killed in a car accident. Through no fault of his own, this sweet little guy suddenly found himself needing a new family and a new beginning.

Pi has already been through a heartbreaking change, and now were hoping to find him a wonderful forever home where he'll be treasured, spoiled, and loved for the rest of his life.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
