Meet Dune

Dune's story is, unfortunately, one we've heard far too many times. He spent his life being used for breeding, neglected, and forgotten. By the time he was rescued, he hadn't been groomed in over a year. His coat was painfully matted, and his nails had grown so long they had curled.

After everything he'd endured, you'd expect Dune to be scared or resentful. Instead, once the groomer had finished giving him the comfort and care he'd been denied for so long, he turned around and thanked her the only way he knew how—with a gentle kiss.

Dune is understandably a little shy at first. When you've spent your life in a kennel, the world can feel like a big, unfamiliar place. But every day he's discovering just how wonderful life can be. Soft beds, kind hands, tasty treats, and the simple joy of being part of a family are all brand-new experiences for him.

He's crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, and once he gets to know you, he's a loving, affectionate companion who simply wants to be close to his people. A patient family willing to let him build confidence at his own pace will be rewarded with a loyal friend who never stops being grateful.

Dune has survived the hardest chapter of his life. Now all he needs is someone willing to help him write the happy ending he's always deserved.
