Bubbles (JN26-82) - Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Peyton, Colorado

Bubbles is a 2-year-old, 11-pound Shih Tzu with an outgoing personality and plenty of character to show off! She is a loyal little dog who forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. Bubbles can take some time to warm up to new people, but once she gets to know you, she enjoys attention and spending time by your side. She also appreciates the finer things in life and would be more than happy to continue living a fancy lifestyle with her new family.

Bubbles has shown some sensitivity with handling, and our team has been spending time helping her build positive experiences with new people. She will need a patient family who is willing to respect her space, move at her pace, and allow her to build trust without pressure.

Bubbles does well with other dogs and benefits from having a canine companion around. She requires another dog in her new home to help her feel comfortable and supported. She is still working on her leash skills, so a secure, fenced-in yard is also required to help keep her safe while she continues learning.

Because Bubbles can be sensitive to handling and fast approaches, she would do best in a home without young children. A quieter, predictable environment with a family who understands that building a relationship with her may take some time and patience will be the best fit.

If you're looking for a fun little Shih Tzu with a big personality, a taste for the fancy life, and lots of loyalty to give, Bubbles may be the perfect match! Our Behavior Team would be happy to discuss Bubbles' needs and how to help her feel comfortable and successful in her new home.
