Hi, I'm Sponge!

I'm a 6-month-old, 8-pound shih tzu puppy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! I may be tiny, but my heart is huge. Everyone says I'm the sweetest little girl, and I have to admit... I really do love making new friends. If you have treats and belly rubs, we'll be best friends in no time!

Before coming to rescue, I lived in a hoarding situation, so life was a little overwhelming. Because of that, I'm looking for a home with another friendly dog who can help me continue to learn that the world isn't such a scary place. Having a confident canine buddy by my side gives me comfort, helps me build my confidence, and reminds me that everything is going to be okay.

I'm still just a puppy, which means I'm learning all kinds of new things! I'm working hard on my potty training, so I'll need a family that's patient, encouraging, and understands that accidents can happen while I'm figuring it all out. With consistency, love, and lots of praise (and maybe a few yummy treats!), I know I'll get there.

My favorite things include getting attention from my people, snuggling close, enjoying treats, and soaking up all the love I can get. Every day I'm discovering how wonderful it feels to be safe, cared for, and cherished, and I can't wait to find a family who will continue showing me just how amazing life can be.

Because of my past, having another friendly dog in my forever home isn't just something I'd enjoy-it's something I truly need. A canine companion helps me feel secure, teaches me that the world is a safe place, and gives me the confidence to keep growing into the happy, loving girl I'm meant to be.

Adoption fee is: $500

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
