Hootie - Shih Tzu and Maltese Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

This little guy is neutered and fully healthy! He is up to date on vaccines. He is also microchipped!

: Housebreaking - Not yet, working on it!

: Crate Training - Doing well so far, after taking a short time to settle. He has been left alone several times, and also sleeps in his crate overnight successfully.

: Leash walking - So far, so good!

: Dog-friendly - He lives with other small dogs in his foster home and has been doing well! He seems to prefer small dog pals to larger dogs.

Hootie is extremely sweet and loves hard. He would love to have someone to lay on and sleep tummy up. He has skills that no one has asked for like pooping with this back leg up and finding random items to bring to "gift" you (a shoe, shampoo refill bag, a soda can). He is just getting the hang of toys, and it is so much fun to see him open up and explore!



Hootie's adoption fee is $300, and he will make a great addition to his future home!

This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!
