Mai Tai is a charming 9-year-old Shih Tzu with a gentle heart, a playful spirit, and a personality that's impossible not to love. While he is sight impaired, he navigates his world remarkably well and doesn't let his vision slow him down one bit!

This sweet little guy absolutely adores toys and can often be found happily carrying one around or snuggling up with his favorite blankie. He's an easygoing companion who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys leisurely walks on a leash.

Mai Tai has also been doing an incredible job with potty training and is settling beautifully into a routine. He's simply an all-around wonderful dog who is looking for a family to love him just as much as he'll love them.

Because of his vision impairment, Mai Tai would do best in a home without young children. He isn't a fan of sudden movements or hands near his face, so a calm, predictable environment will help him feel safe and confident. You will need patience as you master his daily eye drops as he is not a big fan. But were figuring out what works!
