Meet Winnifred, or Winnie for short!

This sweet 3-year-old girl is a retired puppy mill mama who is discovering just how wonderful life can be. With her happy-go-lucky personality and gentle spirit, Winnie has quickly become a favorite wherever she goes.

Winnie gets along well with kids and other dogs, and while she hasn't been around cats in her foster home, she reportedly did well with them previously. Given her easygoing nature, we don't anticipate any issues.

She's learning all about life as a cherished family pet and is doing wonderfully! Winnie walks nicely on a leash, settles well in her crate (especially if her favorite blanket is nearby), and is making great progress with house training. She isn't quite fully house trained yet, but she's working hard and improving every day.

One of Winnie's favorite things? Food! This girl is highly treat-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. She's also discovering toys and learning what is and isn't appropriate to chew ona whole new world after her puppy mill days.
