Barry - Shih Tzu and Miniature Poodle Dog for Adoption in Brockport, New York

Barry is a 5 month old Shi-Poo (Shitzu Poodle) looking for his forever home. Although he is mixed with poodle, he is not hypoallergenic and does shed. He currently weighs 9 lbs and isn't expected to get much bigger. Barry currently lives in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes as well as cats, and he does well with all. He is puppy pen trained and actually loves spending time in his crate with the door open where he can feel safe and observe his surroundings when needed. He is working on potty training and leash training and is doing great with both. He loves toys and treats and running around to play, but also enjoys relaxing and snuggling with his person. He sleeps through the night either in his crate or with his foster parents. He can be shy around new people, animals and children and needs slow introductions. He actually seems to prefer men over women. He does startle easily with loud sounds and sudden movements. He would do best in a quiet adult only home with a fenced in yard so he can explore and relax until he feels comfortable. He is fully vetted. Apply today!
