Wren - Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Brockport, New York

Wren is an adorable 8 week old Shih Tzu who may be tiny, but she has a big personality, and an important special need that her future family must understand.

Wren has hydrocephalus. She is currently asymptomatic, which is wonderful news, but because she is so young and has this diagnosis, we simply dont know what the future may hold. She will need to remain on her medication long-term, and while the medication is very affordable, it is extremely important that she receive it consistently.

Wren is a fun, happy little puppy who definitely likes to make sure her voice is heard! She loves other dogs, cats, and children and enjoys being part of the action.

She is working hard on her potty training and is already doing great with nighttime; she sleeps through the night in her own bed!

Wren is looking for a very special family who understands that adopting her means accepting the unknown and being committed to her medical care for the rest of her life. She may have a completely normal future, or her needs may change as she grows. We just cant predict that yet. What we know currently is she is an adorable little fluff ball who doesnt know shes any different.

Included in her adoption fee is: microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and her spay scheduled through the rescue. Apply today!
