Meet Scamp
DOB: 4/18/23
Breed: Shih Tzu mix
Weight - about 11 lbs
Neutered Male
Grooming appt is scheduled May 11th
Scamp is a sweet, sensitive little guy who just needs a day to feel safe. It took him about 24 hours to warm up to his foster family, and once he did, his gentle, affectionate personality came right out. He’s dog‑friendly, people‑friendly, and looks to his humans for guidance when he’s unsure.
He does get excited and can jump up on people, so at this time we’re recommending older, respectful children only. (And with smaller breeds like him, we generally prefer older kids anyway.) Scamp loves leash walks and enjoys sniffing along the way. He tends to stay by your heelside.
Right now he’s a shaggy little mop, and he has a grooming appointment on Monday, May 11th to get him all cleaned up. He also has an endearing underbite and tiny snaggle tooth that make him extra charming.
We’re looking for a family who can help Scamp continue building confidence and who can commit to his regular grooming needs. He’s a lovely, sensitive boy who will thrive with patient, kind people.
Scamp is ready for his fresh start — could that be with you?
