Cash is wonderful with dogs, cats, kids, chickens, and even horses. He was the star of our small town rodeo parade.

Cash is in our Bridge to Fur Ever Homes Program, where he lives with a Balanced Reinforcement Dog Trainer while he waits for his forever family. He was placed in this program after his previous owner threatened his life for “not listening.”
Only later did we learn the truth: Cash is deaf.

But here’s the beautiful part — Cash hasn’t let that slow him down for a second. He’s bright, affectionate, eager to learn, and incredibly connected to the people around him. Deaf dogs adapt quickly, and Cash is already proving just how capable and resilient he is.

He’s a Border Collie/Heeler mix with all the love, heart, and potential packed into one fuzzy little cattle‑dog package. Cash is ready for someone who will see him for who he truly is: a good dog who just needed someone to listen.

About Our Rescue & Transport
Most of our dogs come from Eastern WA, where vet care is more affordable. Many are adopted before reaching their foster homes in Pierce, King, or Snohomish Counties. We are fully volunteer‑run and meet approved adopters halfway or at a mutually convenient location.

Meeting Locations
Western WA adopters: Wenatchee, Ellensburg or Leavenworth
Eastern WA adopters: Spokane area, Reardan, or Omak

If travel is difficult, we can try to arrange a volunteer hand‑off.
