Tansy, Spayed Female Dachshund Mix

Weight: 6.8 lbs

Tansy is a tiny white‑and‑tan sweetheart with a gentle spirit and the cutest little tippy‑taps when she’s excited. She came to us after her previous situation failed her, but she has handled everything with so much grace and resilience.

Tansy loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She was a bit unsure of the 75‑lb dog in her foster home at first, but within a day she relaxed and now trots around with confidence. She’s agile, playful, and enjoys being close to her humans.

She is a bit thin and working on gaining weight, but she’s otherwise healthy, bright, and ready for a fresh start.

About Our Rescue & Transport
Most of our dogs come from Eastern WA, where vet care is more affordable. Many are adopted before reaching their foster homes in Pierce, King, or Snohomish Counties. We are fully volunteer‑run and meet approved adopters halfway or at a mutually convenient location.

Meeting Locations
Western WA adopters: Wenatchee or Leavenworth
Eastern WA adopters: Spokane area, Reardan, or Omak

If travel is difficult, we can try to arrange a volunteer hand‑off.
