Koba is a beautiful, sweet, and loving 7-month-old Shepherd mix weighing about 36 pounds, and he's ready to find a forever family to call his own!

This handsome boy was surrendered by his previous owner and has never been in a shelter, so he is very well-adjusted and has settled into home life beautifully. Koba is both crate-trained and potty-trained, making him an easy addition to the right home.

Like any pup his age, Koba has plenty of happy puppy energy! He loves to play and would likely thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely run and explore. He's still polishing up his leash manners and can be a little exuberant on walks, but he's a very good boy who listens well and responds nicely to correction.

Koba absolutely loves his people and thrives on human interaction. He can be a tiny bit shy when meeting strangers, but he warms up quickly and becomes your loyal best friend in no time. One of his favorite things? Giving sweet “doggie hugs” — paws on the floor, head in your lap — several times a day. And once playtime is over, he's happy to quietly relax at your feet until the next adventure begins.

Koba does well with cats (even if they don't always appreciate his enthusiasm ) and seems to get along well with other dogs too.
