Tessa - Shepherd Dog Available for Adoption in Washington, Pennsylvania
TESSA
Shepherd
🇺🇸
Washington, Pennsylvania
May 30th
female, medium, young
DESCRIPTION
Arriving 5-30, labeled a generic “West Virginia brown dog”, Tessa is between 9 months and a year old, One of many pups on the property, Tessa is comfortable around other dogs, but not yet with people. She has spent the majority of her short life in a crate and is very timid. With her shepherd coloring and thick coat, without a frame of reference for size, you would not know that she is only around 35 lbs.
As with all shy, skittish dogs, the risk of flight is always a concern. With training, patience and understanding, Tessa would be a wonderful companion for an experienced dog owner.
You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.
