Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Washington, Pennsylvania
HANK
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Washington, Pennsylvania
May 26th
male, medium, young
DESCRIPTION
Playing hanky-panky on his ride to the shelter from WV, Hank is a cutey-pie. Only about 8 months old, the 28 lb melt-your-heart-with-his-eyes, mixed breed has shown himself to be playful with other dogs and oh-so-cuddly with people. The iPhone comes up with different answers about his potential breed which are hard to swallow — catahoula (NAH!), pointer (maybe?), but there is no breed designation for “adorable” which Hank is. He was in a foster home briefly and is likely housebroken.
You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
