DESCRIPTION
Affectionate Lux arrived from a WV shelter. The tan and white mix is around 40 lbs and needs to gain some weight. Said to be good on leash, Lux likes many other dogs and acts appropriately among them. He has been with other dogs dogs in regular play groups. At only around 9 months old, he has a bit of growing to do and seems to be house trained. Lux was a good passenger in the car on his long ride to the shelter.
More photos coming soon!
You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
