Once Sumac decides you're his person, it's game over. He'll want to be right by your side—or preferably on your lap. Yes, he knows he weighs 45 pounds. No, that won't stop him from trying!
Sumac is still learning about life as a beloved house dog, and he's doing amazingly well:
Crate trained overnight and while his foster family is away
Nearly housebroken—only one accident in his foster home!
Dog friendly and loves running around with his canine pals
Good with kids
Cats are unknown
Loves playing with his ball
Enjoys a good pool session
Loves walks and prancing around the yard
Learning commands and picking things up every day
Gives excellent kisses—an important qualification!
After playtime, Sumac is ready to curl up as close to his people as possible. He doesn't need to be the center of attention—he simply wants to be near you, whether that means cuddling on the couch or supervising while you cook.
