Matilda may be shy when meeting someone new and sometimes barks when she feels unsure. But get down on her level, offer her a treat, and give her a little patience—she'll soon be asking for pets and showing you what a loving girl she truly is!

She enjoys relaxing by an open screen door while watching the backyard, exploring outside, sniffing all the interesting smells, and going for walks. Her excitement occasionally turns those walks into a little dance party, so she'll benefit from continued leash practice!

Matilda loves playing with tennis balls, but her absolute favorite thing is being loved—especially when you rub her side!

This particular girl also prefers her kibble dressed up with a tasty topper or a little broth. After all, Matilda knows what she likes!

She has previously lived with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. Her ideal family would offer her a calm, quieter home, daily walks or a yard to enjoy, and plenty of patience while she settles in.
