From the foster: Meet Orange Blossom!
Orange Blossom is the shyest of the trio and likes to take a little time to warm up to new people and experiences. Once she realizes she's safe, her affectionate side shines through, and she's happiest snuggled up next to her favorite person.
Like many young puppies, she's still learning about the world. She currently has an excited (and sometimes nervous) bladder, so she may have little accidents when she's startled or overly excited. With patience, consistency, and confidence-building, she's already making progress.
She's being fostered with 5- and 7-year-old children, a cat, a Great Pyrenees, and her siblings. She enjoys playing with everyone before settling in for a well-earned nap. Orange Blossom is very food motivated, making training fun and rewarding, though she'll likely benefit from a slow feeder since she tends to inhale her meals.
Like most puppies, potty training is still a work in progress. She's learning that her crate is a safe place to rest and will often choose to nap there with her siblings during the day. She's still working on happily going into the crate when asked, especially at bedtime or when her foster family leaves the house. Once she's inside, though, she settles quickly and rests quietly through the night, only needing a couple of potty breaks.
If you're looking for a gentle puppy who will blossom into a loyal, loving companion with a little patience and encouragement, Orange Blossom may be the perfect match for you.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
