What we know: Single Female transferred from Espanola Humane Society (NM). Approximately 2 months old. Transfer In/Other Organization - NM. Came with the name Lindy.
From the foster: We have fostered a lot of amazing puppies and every time we write bios, we feel like we can't possibly capture the puppy's personality with words.
Well this week is no different! This little girl is just about the sweetest, most trusting and happy puppy we have met. As soon as we met her, we were in love and trying to figure out just what she is made of.
She definitely looks like a black lab, but her long torso and shorter legs makes us think she is mixed with a smaller breed.
I can tell you she is like glue and not only wants to be next to me at all times but needs to be touching me also. When I'm working, her head is resting on my foot and when I'm moving about she is constantly under my feet.
During meal time, she eats one piece of food at a time because she gets so excited every time she lifts her head and sees me, it's the cutest thing ever. She is doing great with potty training and sleeping in her kennel although she is still a baby and will need time to feel comfortable with "all the things."
Whoever is interested in this one must be prepared to give her attention because she certainly deserves it. She will cling to you like she was always there and you won't be able to imagine life with her.

ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
