Gunner - Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Fort Collins, Colorado

Meet Gunner! This sweet, gentle little guy is a wonderful mix of playful and affectionate. He loves romping around outside with his siblings, exploring his surroundings, and joining in on whatever fun happens to be underway. When he’s ready for a break, Gunner is perfectly content settling into a warm lap and soaking up plenty of cuddles and attention. He’s a loving, easygoing pup who is ready for a family excited to help him learn, grow, and experience plenty of adventures along the way.

Gunner is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Gunner is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
