Meet Sasha! This lovely young Shepherd gal of about 1yr of age is ready to find a furever home to give her what she needs to exceed. She does not present well in her kennel as many Shepherds show their protective side in the kennel run where they want to be in charge. She has a beautiful black coat, which will require regular brushings and maintenance to keep it looking shiny and well maintained.

Sasha can be a bit vocal at times, but it is true to what many Shepherds do. She does warm up to people she meets once she knows all is well, and her person says it is ok. She loves yard time, is catching on to fetch with a tennis ball, or enjoys a fun toy that she can chase. She knows sit, will take treats rather gently and will thrive with more structure /guidance with a person to take the lead.

Sasha has met some other shelter dogs in the yard but has a bossy, in charge side to her. A meet is required with any resident dog to make sure it is a good fit.

It is preferred that Sasha find a home with Shepherd experience to give her the exercise, training, and guidance that does come with owning this breed,
