Carmella is the biggest sweetheart you'll ever meet. Her gentle, calm, loving personality is so healing to be around. She will happily flop over for belly rubs, blissfully closing her eyes anytime you pet her, and she'll quietly settle nearby just to be close to you. She especially loves young children and is remarkably gentle and patient with them.

Carmella is the definition of an easy companion. She is calm in the house, instantly obedient when you call her, and just so well-behaved. She enjoys relaxing in her crate but is also trustworthy when left unsupervised and sleeps quietly all night until you're ready to get up. She doesn't chew or bark and is fully potty-trained. Whether she's laying contentedly at your feet while you work or watch TV, or sniffing around outside while the kids play, Carmella is happiest just being part of it all.

She loves playing with dogs of all sizes and respectfully ignores the two cats in her foster home, making her an easy fit for many different homes. While she's super mellow indoors, she's also an amazing walking and running buddy who loves getting out for exercise and adventures - literally wagging her tail the whole time.

Carmella is such an easy dog to live with. The only accommodation she needs is that she prefers a chicken-free menu. She has a chicken allergy, so she simply eats chicken-free food and treats and does wonderfully.
