Roxy is a 1 year 2 month old pup. She is a mix of Shepherd and possibly Chow Chow .

Roxy is a happy, intelligent, active pup who loves toys, fetch, and being with her people. She is incredibly loyal and affectionate, and her foster says she would choose human companionship over anything. She thrives on connection and loves being part of the action.

She is currently in a loving foster home with children and other dogs, where she has been doing well. Roxy is playful, social, and full of young dog energy. Because she can be bouncy and doesn’t always realize her size, she may do best with dogs her size or larger.

Roxy has shown some herding tendencies and puppy style behaviors like playful ankle nipping and trying to “round up” the kids, which is common in smart, active breeds. She is responding well to guidance and clicker training, and she is learning every day.

She enjoys walks, loves playing fetch, and has been working on her leash skills. She is mostly potty trained and improving in her foster home. She has no food aggression.

Roxy would do best with an adopter who enjoys an active dog and can continue building her confidence through positive reinforcement. She would love a home where she can have structure, exercise, and plenty of companionship.

The adoption fee includes her veterinary care, health certificate, and out of state transport to your area.

All of our pets are rescued from the Houston, Texas area. We adopt out of state and transport is available to approved adopters.
