DESCRIPTION
(DOB 1/20/2026) Due to Josie's young age, she has not been spayed yet. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).
Meet this beautiful young Shepherd/Boxer mix with a heart as big as her personality!
She's bursting with zest for life and brings joy wherever she goes. Outgoing, affectionate, and always ready to play, she's the kind of pup who will happily be your adventure buddy by day and your snuggle partner by night. Beneath that playful spirit, she also has a gentle, sensitive side and forms strong bonds with her people—she truly wants to make you happy.
This smart girl is already off to a great start! She knows “sit” and appears to be house-trained when kept on a consistent schedule. With her eagerness to please and quick mind, she's ready to keep learning and thriving in a home that will guide her with patience and positive reinforcement.
Because she has a good amount of energy, her ideal home would include:
A friendly, playful canine companion
A fenced yard where she can run and burn off some of that joyful energy
Or regular outings like doggie daycare to keep her active and social
She's the perfect mix of fun, sweetness, and loyalty—ready to grow into an amazing lifelong companion.
If you're looking for a loving, lively pup who will adore you endlessly and keep life exciting, she just might be your girl.
As part of Josie's $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email: Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Josie, you can complete an application online for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
