If youre looking for a best friend with a scruffy face, long legs, and the softest little booty around, Mango is your guy!

At just 1 year old and approximately 15 pounds, Mango is the perfect small companion. He was originally adopted from Underdog as a puppy and, through no fault of his own, recently returned to our care after his family experienced significant medical hardships. Now hes ready for the forever home he truly deserves.

Mango is everything youd want in a companionaffectionate, playful, intelligent, and incredibly people-oriented. He absolutely adores children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and believes theres no better place to be than right by your side. Whether hes curled up in your lap during a car ride or snuggled beside you at bedtime, Mangos happiest when hes with his people.

His previous family shared that he was fully potty trained. Since returning to foster care, hes had a few accidents while adjusting to a home with another male dog, which appears to be more about settling in than a lack of training. Hes already showing how smart he is with great recall and is eager to learn.

Mango is low to non-shedding and will need regular light grooming to keep his adorable scruffy coat looking its best.

For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com. This is also the best way to submit additional documents or information. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest.

Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed.

Our Commitment to Our Dogs
Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including:
Spay/Neuter surgery
Microchipping
DHPP vaccination
Flea treatment and deworming
Rabies vaccination
Any additional vet care as needed

The adoption fee for this dog is $400 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs. Adoption fees may vary based on specific dog and needs.
