Tangerine - Schnauzer Dog for Adoption in Elmwood, Louisiana

Meet Tangerine, a 1-year-old Mini Schnauzer mix weighing about 13 lbs, who is finally getting the second chance she deserves.

Tangerine was found as a stray and arrived in need of care, struggling with a skin infection. With treatment, stability, and consistent TLC, she's now on the mend and feeling so much better--physically and emotionally. What's really shining through is her gentle, affectionate personality.

She's a sweet, people-oriented little girl who leans into comfort and connection. Tangerine isn't asking for much--just a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, be close to her people, and soak up the attention she missed out on before rescue. Cuddles, kindness, and reassurance go a long way for her.

Now under the care of rescue, she's ready to leave her rough start behind and start the next chapter as someone's beloved companion.

Rescued with the help of ARNO, Tangerine is looking for a forever home where she can continue to heal and, most importantly, be loved the way she always should have been.________________________________________________

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 1 year - $300-$350
Adult dogs (1 - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200
Bulldogs, Standard Poodles and Dachshunds $350


Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $200
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $175 / 2 for $225

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
