Hi, I'm Uma -- tiny in size, enormous in love. I'm the kind of little shadow that quietly tiptoes into your life and suddenly becomes the center of it. With my sleek black coat, soft little eyes, and adorable tiny squeaks and chirps, I've mastered the art of being impossibly precious without even trying.

My favorite things in the whole world are laps, pets, and making sweet little sounds to remind you I'm nearby. I'm not afraid to ask for affection either -- if you stop petting me too soon, don't be surprised if I let out the tiniest little meow as a gentle complaint. A girl has needs, after all.

I love curling up close to my people like a warm little weighted blanket. Whether you're watching TV, reading, working, or just sitting still for two seconds, I'll happily volunteer as your cuddle companion. I'm soft, loving, and full of gentle affection that makes every room feel calmer and cozier.

Even though I'm small, my personality shines bright. I've got sweetness packed into every inch of me, and I'm ready to spend my days filling your home with purrs, tiny noises, and endless love.

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange that appointment. Please see the link above to apply.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 1 year - $300-$350
Adult dogs (1 - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200
Bulldogs, Standard Poodles and Dachshunds $350


Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $200
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $175 / 2 for $225

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
