DESCRIPTION

Hi there... my name is Bebo. I'm a 10-year-old schnauzer mix with soft grey fur, gentle eyes, and a heart that mostly just wants to be close to my person. I weigh about 22 pounds, which I think is the perfect size for couch snuggles and quiet companionship.

For most of my life, I stayed close to home with my owner, who was home most of the time. I slept every night beside the bed on my little dog bed, always happy just knowing my person was nearby. These days, my owner's health has become poor, and they can no longer care for me the way they wish they could. So now I'm looking for someone new to love.

I'm what you'd call a quiet little angel. I don't bark much, I don't growl, and I'm not interested in causing trouble. When I meet other dogs, I usually just stand still, wag my tail, and politely sniff hello. I've mostly been around smaller dogs, and I'm friendly and curious about them. Cats, though? Well... I do like to chase them, so a cat-free home would probably be best for everyone.

I'm crate trained, leash trained, and very easy to live with. I love gentle walks, soft beds, snacks, and being close enough for unlimited snuggles. Truly, if you let me, I would cuddle with you 24/7.

My back legs shake sometimes because I have arthritis, so I'm not looking for big adventures anymore. My dream home would be calm and quiet - maybe with an older person or couple, a small backyard, and someone who enjoys slow walks and peaceful evenings as much as I do.

I may be a senior boy, but I still have so much love left to give.
