I'm a 7-year-old chocolate lab with a big heart, a bigger personality, and-if we're being honest-a little extra fluff right now. I'm about 90 pounds at the moment, but my vet says I've got a goal to work toward, so if you're looking for a walking buddy, I'm very on board with that plan.

Let me tell you what I'm all about.

First things first: I love balls. Not just one... ideally several. If there are balls around, I will find them, collect them, and proudly carry as many as I can fit in my mouth. It's kind of my signature move.

I'm also a total water girl. Kiddie pool? I'm in. Open shower? Don't mind if I do. A little leftover water on the floor? Perfect! I'll just roll around in that. Basically, if it involves water, I'm interested.

When I'm not busy with my hobbies, I'm a pretty classic lab. I love my people, of course. I'm affectionate, loyal, and happiest when I'm near you. If couches are allowed, I'd be thrilled to rest my head in your lap and settle in for some quality snuggle time. If not, I'll still find a way to be close. Your feet will never be cold when I'm nearby.

I live with both a big dog and a tiny 12-pound dog right now, and I do well with both. I'm respectful of everyone's space, and as long as we each get our own food, things are great.

On walks, I'm generally easygoing and enjoy taking my time to sniff the world. I can get a little curious and pull if something catches my attention, and sometimes I like to keep an eye on my person when we're out and about, but I listen and redirect pretty well.

Now, I'm going to be honest about one thing: if a door or gate is open, I may see that as an opportunity for a little adventure. Because of that, I'll need a home that's mindful about keeping things secure and knowing where I am.

City life? Totally fine. I've adjusted easily. Cars, people, everyday noise don't bother me. Vacuums, though...I'm still forming my opinion on those.

I spent a lot of my earlier life in a dog run, so I've learned how to entertain myself, but what I really want now is more time with my people. More connection, more everyday life together.

All I really need is a home that's ready for a loyal heart, a wagging tail, and maybe a few extra tennis balls lying around.
