PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION

PEDRO IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.
Pedro was found in a known dumping area in the greater Houston area—an unsafe place for any dog. Despite his rough start, Pedro has proven to be an incredibly resilient and loving boy who is now ready for a safe, stable forever home.

Pedro is calm, sweet, and truly one of the easiest dogs you could ask for. He loves cuddles, belly rubs, treats, and playing ball, but he’s also perfectly content lounging and napping near his people. He is potty trained, crate trained, and walks very well on a leash, making him an easy addition to a home. Pedro knows how to sit on command and is very attentive and eager to please. Being a bit older, he has a more relaxed energy level, with occasional bursts of playful happiness that make him even more charming. He does well with other dogs and is described as very gentle, making him a wonderful companion.

Pedro is heartworm positive, which is common among strays in the South. The good news is that he is completing treatment and is on his way to being heartworm negative soon. If you have any questions about his health, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email.

Pedro will be neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

If you’re interested in giving Pedro his forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!
