PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION

BENNY IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.

Benny was rescued from the euthanasia list at a rural Oklahoma pound where space was limited and his time was up. Thankfully he made it into rescue and is now getting the chance to find a loving forever home.

Benny is an energetic, playful puppy who loves toys—especially anything chewy or squeaky. He enjoys playtime just as much as he enjoys being around his people and soaking up attention. He is potty trained and crate trained and is already learning routines quickly. Benny is very treat motivated, which is helping him make great progress as he works on commands like “sit” and “kennel.” He’s a fun, confident pup who will thrive in a home ready to continue his training and give him plenty of playtime and structure.

Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce him to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to his development!

Benny will be adopted under a neuter contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of neuter. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.

If you’re interested in giving Benny his forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
