Sampson is a 5-year-old Saint Bernard mix weighing in at around 100 pounds of pure happiness.

This big, goofy guy arrived with his six dog siblings after their owner suffered a stroke and could no longer care for them. While the dogs clearly loved one another, living with so many dogs in a small space occasionally led to some disagreements and left a few of them looking a little rough around the edges. Fortunately, Sampson seems to hold absolutely no grudges. In fact, we think he'd be perfectly happy sharing his future home with another dog and might even prefer the company!

Sampson is the kind of dog who makes people smile without even trying. He greets life with a wagging tail, a happy grin, and an enthusiasm that's impossible not to love. He's generally a gentle giant, but let's be honest, when you're 100 pounds, even gentle can be a little clumsy. His ideal adopter will appreciate having a very large dog and be prepared for all the extra love and space that comes with him.
