Hi there, my name is Stormy!
I am a really sweet dog that loves to pick a human and become their best friend. My favorite way to spend time is hanging out with my humans, whether that is chilling on the couch, playing fetch or hanging out in the backyard to sunbathe. Since I am very smart, I have learned basic obedience, and quickly pick-up new tricks. My great behavior extends to home manners - no accidents in the house for me - and my crate is a safe space for me and I can hang out there comfortably when my humans are home or away. Because of my love for a good nap, I have mastered the art of road-tripping and do well in new places as long as my crate comes with. I can be shy when meeting new people and sometimes struggle with tall friends or people in hats. Once you get to know me, I will happily bring all 50 lbs of me up for some lap dog cuddles. Although I get along well with human friends, I don't get along with other animals as I am not good with sharing toys. Because of this I would love a home with no other pets and prefer older children who are more predictable for me. If you are looking for a new best friend to work into your chill family routine, I am definitely your girl!

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
