Hi, I'm Zucchini! 🐾
I may have a funny name, but I'm a pretty amazing girl! I'm a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, weighing in at a lean 44 pounds, and I'm looking for my forever family.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend, I think we'd get along great. I love being with my people, whether we're out exploring or snuggled up on the couch. I'm super smart (if I do say so myself!) and I love anything that makes me think, especially puzzle toys.

I'm already house-trained and crate-trained, so I'm ready to settle right into my new home. Oh, and fun fact--my two best friends are hairless cats, so I'm pretty cool with feline roommates too!

My favorite things in the world are going for walks, running as fast as my legs can carry me, playing tug-of-war, and learning new things. I'd love a family that will keep my mind busy, my body active, and save plenty of time for cuddles.

I get so excited to spend the day playing with my dog friends at daycare. I can be a little cautious when meeting new dogs, so I appreciate slow, thoughtful introductions. Once I decide they're a friend, we're best buddies for life!

When I'm on leash, I can get overwhelmed when I see other dogs or children. I would do best with a family who can help me navigate those situations with patience, guidance, and plenty of encouragement.

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
