Lacey - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Savage, Minnesota

Hi I'm Lacey! Thanks for considering me. I'm new to Minnesota from Alabama. I was living at a rescue shelter and didn't know how to interact with people. I was there with my mom and five siblings. My mom, two siblings, and I found foster homes in Minnesota, and now I use the phrase "uffdah."

Initially, I was quite reserved. By the second day, I was starting to find my personality. I still get nervous in new situations, but I'm quickly getting the hang of the routine here. I'm a good puppy--a nice mix of playful and cuddly. I'm trying to figure out how to sit on my foster mom's lap, but there doesn't seem to be enough room.

I'm doing great in the house--no accidents. I ride well in the car, and I'm quiet and sleep once I'm put into my crate. I might need a day or two to warm up to new situations, but if you're patient and calm, I'll be the best girl. I think I'd do well with kids and other dogs. I'd prefer to have a confident dog to show me the ropes and play with me, but I might be okay without another dog if given time to adjust. Currently, I live to play with my 1-year-old foster sibling, who is about 12 pounds. I make myself small by lying down so we can play. My foster mom has videos if you'd like to see any.

Toys and bones are my favorites. I'm submissive and eager to please.

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
