DESCRIPTION
Meet Chex!
At 122 pounds, Chex is a whole lot of dog with an even bigger journey ahead of him.
Recently rescued by our Animal Law Enforcement team, Chex is still learning that the world can be a safe and welcoming place. New experiences can be a little overwhelming for him, so he's looking for a patient, understanding family that will help him build confidence at his own pace.
Chex would do best with adopters who are familiar with Rottweilers and appreciate the loyal, sensitive nature of the breed. While he may be reserved at first, we know that with time, trust, and consistency, Chex has all the potential to become a devoted and loving companion.
He is open to meeting other dogs, and having a confident canine friend in the home may even help him continue to come out of his shell.
If you are interested in adopting, stop by our shelter any day between 12-6:30pm. Please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
