Meet Baloo!

Baloo is a gentle soul who was rescued by our Animal Law Enforcement team from a home with almost 100 other animals. When he first came into our care, he was shut down and fearful, unsure of the new world around him. Thanks to the patience, kindness, and dedication of our volunteers and staff, Baloo has made wonderful progress and is slowly gaining confidence every day. As he continues to blossom, Baloo is looking for a home that will offer him the same patience, understanding, and trust that have helped him come so far. He thrives when given time to adjust and build relationships at his own pace.

Baloo is open to meeting friendly dog companions and would do best with dog-savvy children who can respect his need for space and help him continue building confidence. With a compassionate family by his side, he is sure to keep growing into the loyal and loving companion he's meant to be.

If you are interested in adopting, stop by our shelter any day between 12-6:30pm. Please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
