At 10 years young, Bubba Jay is the definition of a gentle, loyal companion with just the right amount of personality. This sweet senior boy is looking for a cozy home where he can relax, feel safe, and be your devoted sidekick.

Bubba already has his manners down—he knows “sit,” “down,” and even “shake”! He does well on a leash, is comfortable in a crate, and might just surprise you by hopping right into the bath like it’s no big deal. He’s an easygoing guy who enjoys a good game of tug-of-war or simply carrying his favorite toys around (don’t worry—he’s very respectful and doesn’t destroy them).

True to his nickname, Bubba Jay is a big baby at heart. Once he settles into a home, he becomes incredibly loyal and protective—your built-in security system with a loving twist. Because of this, he may be a little unsure around some larger men at first, but with patience and proper introductions, he can build trust.

He did great at the vet and seems like he could live with other animals, especially calm, laid-back companions. He’s not overly playful with other dogs, so a chill household would suit him best.
