Elsa and her dog buddy, Amelia, suddenly found themselves surrendered to a shelter in Alabama through no fault of their own. With adoptions few and far between, their future was uncertain and the shelter was a scary place to be. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in and gave these deserving girls a second chance. Now Elsa is ready for the best part of her journey — finding a forever family of her very own!

Elsa is a wonderful girl who is very well behaved. She has so much love and companionship to offer and will make a fantastic addition to one lucky home. After everything she's been through, Elsa is ready to leave shelter life behind and discover just how wonderful it feels to truly belong. In return, she promises years of love, loyalty, and faithful companionship.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
