Are you looking for a loyal and loving best friend, or addition to a family? Meet Toby! This handsome boy is a 3 year old, Rat Terrier weighing 10 lbs. Toby recently made the journey from Texas (where he was found as a stray in a park) to Ontario thanks to a team of dedicated volunteers. He is neutered and vetted, and ready to find his forever home.

Toby is playful, affectionate and greets you with kisses. He loves to be his with people, but may need slower introductions to new people. He would do best in a home where someone can be home for at least part of the day to offer regular outdoor breaks and company, especially as he settles in. After a week in a consistent routine, Toby is housetrained, sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and appears more confident when left alone for a few hours.

Toby walks well on a leash, and enjoys car rides too. He will happily join you on any adventure, big or small. He has medium energy and enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home and with toys too. He has moments of big energy (zoomies!) followed by quiet, cuddly moments where he just wants to curl up in your lap.

Toby isn’t overly vocal so could be suited for apartment living. He would also love a home with a fenced backyard for exploring and playing. Toby has shown to be great with kids, so could be suited in a family with dog savvy kids 8+. He is great with others dogs too. Toby is a lovely little dog, please consider giving him the loving forever home he deserves.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter .
*EXCLUDING UNALTERED PUPPIES UNDER A YEAR.

The adoption fee also includes, at a minimum, vaccinations, de-worming, I.D. tag and microchip insertion. We gratefully accept any amount above the adoption fee as a donation used to support our mission to save as many dogs as possible.
