Auggie - Pug and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Jarrettsville, Maryland

Sweet Auggie has had a rough hand dealt to her, through absolutely no fault of her own. We rescued her from a local shelter in July, and she was happily adopted and living her best life. Sadly, her owner experienced a serious health issue and had to make the heartbreaking decision to return her to us.Now, this 10-year-old sweetheart is looking for her forever home once again!
Auggie LOVES everyone and happily greets every person she meets. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and don't let her age fool you - she still has plenty of pep in her step!
She enjoys going for walks, exploring the world, and keeping tabs on everything happening around her. She's earned the nickname "The Nosey Dog" because she always wants to know what everyone is up to!
Auggie has so much love left to give, and she deserves a home where she can finally settle in and stay forever. Could that be with you?





1. Review our adoption contract and application.

2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.

3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below:

It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 3 days. If the meeting goes well, you will submit payment electronically and be able to take your new family member home with you immediately! If for whatever reason you do not take the animal home after the first meeting, please understand that we will continue to process applications for the animal and availability is not guaranteed.
