Meet Peter ParkEAR, one of our Ear Pups!
At just 8 weeks old, this little pittie has already overcome a pretty rough start. The Ear Pups came to us emaciated and full of worms, but after treatment, plenty of good food, and lots of TLC, they've gained weight and are now happy, healthy puppies ready for homes of their own.
Currently weighing around 10 pounds, these babies still have plenty of growing to do and are expected to become larger pittie-type dogs. We've sent off a DNA test, so stay tuned to find out exactly what went into creating those magnificent ears!
Like any 8-week-old puppy, this kiddo is playful, curious, social, silly, and just the right amount of chaotic. The Ear Pups love other dogs and toys, are good with cats, and have even done well around chickens!
Potty training is a work in progress, and they're still learning one other very important life lesson: they are puppies, not sharks. They can be mouthy right now, but with continued training, socialization, and plenty of appropriate outlets for normal puppy behavior, they'll continue learning how to use those tiny teeth appropriately.
